DISCLAIMER: I have no idea why this post is being ridiculous and uncooperative, but it is and there’s apparently nothing I can do about it. All the information is here, it’s just a jumbled mess. This has never happened before, and I can’t figure out why it’s happening now. My apologies to the reader.

I had a blast doing the light painting and light graffiti photos. It’s so interesting to learn how the camera takes in light. So many times I thought the pictures would be way overexposed, but they were great or sometimes too dark. I didn’tdo much editing to any of these photos, except to increase contrast and blacks to make things look more dramatic.

I discovered that the hallway in my building gets pitch black after dark, so that was a great place to do light paintings. I just set up the tripod used a tiny pen light to draw all kinds of different figures. The two I posted were the ones I liked the best.

The abstract camera motion light picture is weird. I tried to paint a bunch of stars with my camera, but it didn’t work. I used some twinkle lights we have in our apartment for this picture. This isn’t something I’ll probably try again, but I’m definitely going to keep playing with light painting and graffiti.
