I took the first four shots in Japan over the Christmas break and the fourth while living in Virginia last semester. I just started getting into photography, so my portfolio of past photos is limited to the last two months. I’d love to be able to do more interesting things with night photography (see: “Tilt-a-Whirl”) and portraiture in the future. I look forward to learning to use my camera more effectively.





I love your Tokyo shots. The one with bird looks great, with the knot right-aligned and the background blurred. It looks like a professional shot I’d see somewhere. The tilt-a-whirl one is fantastic, and even though it looks as if the focus is the only thing in color, I like that it really isn’t due to the saturation of the wheel.
